3 yards of happiness just arrived!

Three yards of perfection just arrived in my mailbox!!

So happy, it's even better in person.
After giving up finding it locally I ordered it online Friday morning and it's already here.

I found a few coordinating pieces at Cool Cottons in downtown Portland.
What a fun shop.  The owner was so helpful.

But most of all she was patient with me as I searched for my Chevron quilt fabrics.
Finding creepy fabric can not be rushed.

And thank you Carol for braving the storm to come play with me!

It's almost sad to use this gorgeous fabric as backing.

I'm just happy to have a project lined up for this Saturdays PMQG's sew day.
Gee, being prepared, what a concept.  I should do this more often!

Woo hoo!

This little beauty is on it's way to my house!

My friend Carol and I have been trying to schedule a sew day for months.  We both want to make chevron quilts. We decided the next PMQG's sew day was the perfect opportunity.

I never pictured a gray and pink .... yes PINK chevron.  But this fabric just won me over for my backing.

I'm in love!

Is it possible to fall in love with fabric?

YES, yes I do believe it is!  I seriously need to buy some of this before it's gone.
Alexander Henry, Ghastlies, A Gastlie Holiday.  Perfection!

My Friend Lynn Douglass of The Creamsicle Cat shared this on her Facebook wall this morning and I about died!   Thank you Lynn for sharing this fabulous find!!  (No I haven't retired, I just need to catch up on some posts.  Busy times around here.  lol)

Isn't this picture fantastic!   The original quilt design wall.

I wish I knew who to give the credit to, I found it on Pinterest.
But there was no link to be found.

Owen is here!

Grand baby #6 has finally arrived =)  As many of you know we've been expecting him for about a month now, lol.  Since late July to be exact.   I never knew a due date could change so many times.

Owen was born September 4th at 10:24pm. He weighed 10 lbs 3 ozs and was 21.5 inches long.

Born sunny side up (face up) with no epidural!  So proud of my daughter.
Way to go Amy, your amazing!!
