Kathleen's quilt has left the building

What a beauty!

It's been awhile since I've quilted this pattern.

It never ceases to amaze me how tiny some of the piecing is.

I love the movement.

This is largest size quilt in this pattern I've quilted,

I sure admire the amount of work that went into it.

  1. Janet, your creative mind never ceases to amaze me. You are the quilting BOMB!

  2. Great colors and the quilting really enhances the piecing.

  3. What a fantastic job of quilting! Did you just freehand it or did you use a ruler? The lines are so straight and even.

    1. Thank you for the kind words. Sometimes we only see the flaws in our own work. If you think it looks straight I'm a happy woman, lol! I used a ruler as every piece was on the bias and wanted to walk about 2 inches per block! lol

  4. What is this pattern and where can I find it please?

  5. It's beautiful. Is the pattern available?

  6. the foundation piece can be downloaded at
there are some colour guidelines but no step by step instructions

  7. On the pattern would you reverse the numbering so that No.1 is the middle and go from there, Your quilt is absolutely beautiful, thanks for sharing

  8. How can I find instructions for sewing iris folding patterns? This is gorgeous!

  9. There is an out of print book that you can sometimes find on Amazon books. The title is something like Twisted Log Cabin Blocks. It covers all you need to know to construct this quilt.
